Amendment of the Education Act so that if the teacher is a member of a political party, he will not be a teacher
The 3rd National Conference of Nepal School Staff Council National Committee has been concluded recently. The conference also issued a two-point manifesto.
It is mentioned in the manifesto about the movement and organizational activities.
In a press release issued by the president of the council, Gangaram Tiwari and the general secretary, Shantinath Yog, from February 15th to the middle of the month, submission of attention letters at the local level, from Chait 1 to Chait 7th, at the education development and coordination unit, and until Chait 15th at the Ministry of Social Development.
It is mentioned that the attention letter will be submitted to the relevant agencies of the federal government on 21st of Chait.
In that period too, if their demands are not heard, they have been warned of indefinite school closure.
Similarly, it is mentioned in the manifesto that the program of strengthening the local level committee will be carried out to get the service facilities of the employees.
Salaries of 34,850 school employees working across the country are being demanded.
