Amendment of the Education Act so that if the teaching staff is a member of a political party, they will go to the post

If a teacher or school employee is a member of a political party, he will not be a teacher post.

The first amendment of the Education Act issued by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City in 2075 has made more stringent provisions. According to the amended Act, the Act has been amended to vacate the post of teachers who are absent for more than 15 days without notice.

Earlier, the provision mentioned 90 days. The bill approved by the 13th session of the Municipal Council was verified on July 11 and published in the local gazette.

Three clauses have been added to the provision in Section 41 of the original Act regarding removal from office. A section has been added where the teacher or employee who is a member of a political party is removed from the position, including if the teacher or employee of a community school teaches or works elsewhere during office hours or does any professional activity elsewhere and obtains a residence permit or initiates the process to obtain one.

Before this, there were 6 different conditions stipulated in the Act for removal from the post.
