It will not take ages for the relief teachers to compete in the competition.
The decision was made in the five-point agreement reached between the government and the protesting teachers on Friday.
There was no such age limit in the school education bill registered by the government in the parliament. Because of this, the teachers have been protesting in Kathmandu since Ashoj 3rd, but today’s agreement says, ‘No age limit will be maintained in the competition.’
Education Minister Ashok Kumar Rai said that he will study the demands made by the teachers and present them to the Parliament. After the government took initiative on the demand of the teachers, all the protests were also withdrawn.
Even today they were protesting in Maitighar area.
