A memorandum has been submitted to the Dean demanding a solution to the problems being faced by CSIT students across the country. The Student Association of Computer Science (SACS) has submitted a memorandum to Shankar Prasad Khanal, Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University.
The memorandum states that the provision that only full-time teachers should be appointed as program coordinators as per the procedure in colleges and campuses running the B.Sc. CSIT program has been violated. The demand is that the said procedure should be followed literally.
The demand is that the concerned institution should implement the arrangement to appoint M.Sc. CSIT graduate teachers and qualified program coordinators within five years as per the B.Sc. CSIT operation procedure. It is also demanded that arrangements be made that the minimum qualification for the post of B.Sc. CSIT program coordinator should be only M.Sc. CSIT.
