

The Nepal Students’ Union has stated that its organization has not locked the offices of Tribhuvan University. In a statement, Nepal Students’ Union spokesperson Suraj Sejuwal clarified that the Nepal Students’ Union has not locked the offices of various offices and officials including the Vice-Chancellor, Rector, Registrar, Service Commission.
He said that serious attention has been drawn to the fact that baseless, misleading and false information has been disseminated in various media and social media that the Nepal Students’ Union has locked the offices.
The Nepal Students’ Union has a clear and institutional decision not to lock any type of office in educational institutions to make the form of the movement timely and civilized.
He also reminded that locking the offices of universities and subordinate campuses and colleges in a way that adversely affects the educational environment would be a clear violation of the Nepal Students’ Union Code of Conduct, 2080, as well as the policies and ideals of the union.
