Now Driving License Fee can be Paid Online

A system has been launched where the driver’s license revenue can be paid online.

Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala inaugurated the service at the ‘Extension of Electric Service Delivery System with Online Revenue Payment of Driver’s License’ held at Transport Management Office Ekantakuna on Thursday.

Along with this, the revenue to be submitted by the customer can be paid through the online system when the driver’s license form is submitted at the Transport Management Office.

Although the service was inaugurated on Thursday, it is said that it will start only from Friday.

Minister Jwala said that with the introduction of online payment system, the situation of having to queue at the customer office will be reduced. “This is the beginning. We started with enthusiasm. To continue in a sustainable manner. It is to make it reliable and easy,” he said while speaking at the program, “It is to reduce queues at the traffic management department and offices. The trial giving service is also to be made lineless. Biometric will also be done online.

It is planned to implement this service in the first phase of the traffic management office in Ekantakuna, in the second phase it will be implemented in the traffic management offices of the valley after Dashain and in the third phase it will be implemented all over the country. For this, the Department of Transportation Management is preparing to collaborate with payment service providers.
