The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has given the facility to know the status of printing of Nepal driving license through the website.

Follow the following steps to check the driving license print status:

• Go to your device’s internet browser.
• search the DoTM official website (www.dotm.gov.np).
• You will see an ‘Important link’ on the right.
• Below you will see ‘Smart Card Driving License Print Status‘ Click Now.
• After clicking, you will see a place to fill name and driving license number.

1. Enter your full name (In English) in the Name place.
2. Enter your driving license number (In English) in the Driving License Number place.

• Click The Check Status Button.

After this, you will know that your license has been print or not.

Check Driving License Print Status by SMS

The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has given the facility to know the printing status of Nepal Driving License through SMS. This method is very simple to check driving license print status through mobile SMS.

To find out whether your smart Driving license has been printed or not, you can type LC and give a space and type the applicant ID and send an SMS to 33001.

Follow these steps to know driving license print status:

1. Go to your mobile’s message box.
2. Compose a new message.
3. Type LC<space>License Number.
4. Send SMS to 31003.

Then, there will be an immediate message whether the license has been printed or not.

For example:

If your license ID is 09-09-00123456, then type LC 09-09-00123456 and send it to 31003, and you will receive a message of your license status, whether your license is print or not.
