The Ministry of Education is Making Curriculum for Class 11 and 12

Certificate of removal of 100 passes in theoretical and experimental and now bringing in 30 in total.

While the Ministry of Education has been criticizing the country’s poor quality of education, the curriculum has been drafted to ensure that students get their certificates without much effort. In class 11 and 12, the change in the theoretical (external) and practical (internal) arrangements for passing apart has now allowed a total of 30 to get the certificate.

The new syllabus has 75 points of theoretical and 25 points of experimental evaluation. The curriculum development council, which is headed by the Minister of Education, has kept the same code of theoretical and practical subjects for the new curriculum.

Having the same code, the score of the theoretical and experimental evaluation sent by the school is integrated. In this way, D plus grades come in the aggregate, bringing 2 points in the internal and 1 in the external evaluation. The student who receives the D plus gets admission to the university.

Until now there have been separate marks in Exam 11 and 12 in both the external and internal exams. The transcript is issued from the National Examination Board only to the students who have taken the D plus in the theoretical examination. Experts claim that keeping the same code number-theoretical and internal and integrating grades by combining the marks of both will enable even the most vulnerable students to qualify for higher education. The new curriculum is being implemented from the upcoming academic session in Class 11 and after one year in Class 12.
Director-General of the Course Development Center Dr. Lekhnath Poudel says – The teacher must believe

Director-General of the Course Development Center Dr. Lekhnath Poudel said the internal and external evaluation of each subject will be graded by adding grading. The school teacher said that the internal assessment by the school teacher is also going to be graded on the aggregate on the basis of the belief that credibility is credible. “There is a 25 percent internal assessment. We have to decide the basis; the teacher should have faith in the implementation,” said Poudel, director-general.

Educationist Vidyanath Koirala says – This is an unwanted job

Passing by theoretical and experimental emphasis is an unwanted task. It is my belief that it should pass both theoretical and experimental. Unless the culture of giving me the number and the culture of knowing what is going on should be arranged separately.

Now the number 25 in classes 11 and 12 is kept experimental. The teacher does not hesitate to give that number. In theory, the number of 5/10 was passed, too. It is the policy of the Ministry of Education to avoid criticizing that many students fail. It was the mentality of the teacher’s boss to pass many students.

Having too many student failures means that the system is ineffective. Some donors have made an impact too. Investments in education in Nepal, change the policy to reflect its achievement. The score was evaluated in letter grading under donor pressure. It created the illusion that no one would fail.

Previously there were separate passes, both experimental and theoretical, now a system of passing passes is being established. It has not increased students’ knowledge and skills. According to the report of the Center for Educational Quality Testing for some years, student learning achievement is decreasing each year. Our students’ abilities are neither theoretically strong nor practical in their use, but in a new journal, Bhavaniswar Gaetam writes.
