1. Distribution of Textbooks and Development of Teaching-Learning Materials from Class 1 to 8

In order to ensure learning continuity and improve quality, the distribution of textbooks and teaching materials for students from Class 1 to 8 has been initiated from the beginning of the academic session 2079/080 and must be completed on time.

  • The demand and distribution of textbooks should be recorded in the IEMIS system.

  • Responsibility to ensure timely distribution lies with school management committees, teacher staff, textbook business associations, and local education units.

  • The list of available digital books is published on:
    https://www.moecdc.gov.np/en/text-books

  • Schools must enter details of textbook demand and distribution in IEMIS by the end of Ashwin (First term), Poush (Second term), and Chaitra (Third term).

  • Schools that have not updated their IEMIS details in previous academic sessions must update immediately.

2. Guidelines for Inclusive and Community Education

  • Schools must ensure access to learning for children with disabilities, Dalit, marginalized groups, endangered communities, and children in difficult circumstances.

  • Schools must collect and input such students’ details on IEMIS.

  • For students with disability, schools should adopt inclusive education, effective classroom practice, and necessary support mechanisms.

3. Guidelines for Teacher Training and Related Educational Materials

  • To improve teacher capacity and quality, teacher educational materials have been developed.

  • The Center has prepared classroom learning models focusing on:

    • Lesson plans

    • Learning outcomes

    • Classroom activities

    • Classroom assessment (Formative and Summative)

  • The thematic content includes:

    1. Foundations of Teacher Education

    2. Philosophy of education in Nepal

    3. National policies and practices

    4. Comparative analysis of teacher education in various countries

    5. School curriculum and assessment

    6. Classroom observation and best practices

    7. Child development

    8. Assessment of Learning / for Learning / as Learning

  • The classroom plan must include:

    • Subject, class and time duration

    • Learning outcomes

    • Activities

    • Resources

    • Assessment

  • Written assignment format must follow:

    • APA 7th or 8th edition

    • Times New Roman, Unicode font, Size 12

    • 1.5 line spacing

4. Notice from Ministry of Health and Population Regarding Scholarship Seats

  • Applications are open for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and other medical programs under scholarships.

  • Only students who have passed the entrance examination from Medical Education Commission can apply.

  • The seat allocation has been published on:
    www.moh.gov.np
