In order to ensure learning continuity and improve quality, the distribution of textbooks and teaching materials for students from Class 1 to 8 has been initiated from the beginning of the academic session 2079/080 and must be completed on time.
The demand and distribution of textbooks should be recorded in the IEMIS system.
Responsibility to ensure timely distribution lies with school management committees, teacher staff, textbook business associations, and local education units.

Schools must enter details of textbook demand and distribution in IEMIS by the end of Ashwin (First term), Poush (Second term), and Chaitra (Third term).
Schools that have not updated their IEMIS details in previous academic sessions must update immediately.
