Notice regarding the establishment of examination centers for the written examination of the Senior Mechanic position.

This notice is published for the information of all concerned that the written examination for the Senior Mechanic position, under Advertisement No. 12052-12054/081-82 (Open and Inclusive) of the Public Service Commission, Kathmandu Office, Nepal Engineering Service, Mechanical Group, General Mechanical Sub-group, Non-gazetted Second Class (Technical), will be conducted at the following dates, times, and examination centers for candidates whose applications were accepted with Kathmandu as their examination center.

Furthermore, candidates requiring an assisting writer must submit an application to this office with reasons and documentary evidence for needing an assisting writer, as per Rule 68 (1) of the Public Service Commission Regulations, 2079, at least 10 (ten) days before the start date of the examination.

Important points that candidates appearing for the examination must compulsorily follow are mentioned below in Note 1.

Note 1:

  1. The examination will not be postponed without prior notice from the Commission.
  2. Only black ink must be used in the examination. Lead pencils are not allowed in objective answer sheets.
  3. For multiple-choice questions, only answers written in English capital letters (A, B, C, D) will be recognized.
  4. Candidates whose examination center is not Kathmandu will not be allowed to participate in the examination.
  5. Bags, mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are prohibited in the examination hall. Calculators are not allowed in the objective examination.
  6. Candidates must compulsorily bring their admit card along with their citizenship card or any other identification card issued by the Government of Nepal with a photograph.
  7. Due to infectious diseases, candidates must arrange for their own masks, sanitizers, and drinking water.
