The preparations for the class 12th exam, which will be conducted from Tuesday, have been completed.
The Chairman of the National Examination Board has called upon all the candidates to participate in the Class 12 examination as the preparation for the examination is complete.
In this year’s annual examination of class 12, a total of 467 thousand 389 students from all over the country are going to take the examination, said Krishna Sharma, Controller of Examinations of the Board.
One thousand four hundred and fifty seven examination centers have been determined for the examination. He informed that the center president, co-center president, inspector and assistant have been appointed for the examination and mobilized for the examination.
“The material required for the examination has been delivered to the districts,” Sharma said.
This year, more than 56,000 students are going to participate in the grade enhancement exam.
The grade increase exam should be given only for the subject in which the number was lower.
Students who have received ‘non-graded’ in three or more subjects will have to take the exam for the entire subject this year, although the examination form for 6 subjects has been filled, but with the revision of the Letter Grading Guideline, 2078 by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, now only the exam for the subjects that have received non-graded will be given.
According to the letter grading system implemented by the board, the students who got ungraded in more than two subjects had to take the exam of the whole subject.
By doing this, the ministry revised the guidelines after there was a possibility of students dropping out in the grade increase examination held last year.
