Tribhuvan University Announces Erasmus+ PhD Scholarship in Geology

The Centre for International Relations (CIR) at Tribhuvan University is excited to announce a call for applications for a fully funded Erasmus+ mobility opportunity. This scholarship, part of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme, is offered in collaboration with the University of Turin (UniTO), Italy.

This prestigious scholarship is open to one PhD student currently enrolled in the Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University. The selected student will undertake a 2-month mobility period in Italy, to be completed no later than July 31, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be regularly enrolled in a PhD program at the Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University.
• Must have a minimum of research experience in structural geology and petrology.
• Must be proficient in English, with a preference for candidates having an academic background in the English medium.

Financial Support Includes:

• A monthly stipend of €850.00.
• Travel support of €820.00.
• An additional €250.00 for visa, health insurance, and residence permit costs.
• An extra top-up of €250.00/month for selected candidates with fewer opportunities.

Selection Process:
