Notice Regarding Student Entrance Examination

Gandaki Boarding School announces that for the academic year 2082 B.S., new students will be admitted from Grade 3 to Grade 9. Interested students are informed that the entrance examination will be conducted as per the details below.

1. Application Form

• Application forms can be obtained from 1st Poush 2081 through the IEMS portal.

2. Required Documents

• Duly filled application form

• Two passport-size photographs

• Photocopy of birth registration/citizenship

• Certified mark sheets of the previous class/grade

• Recommendation letter from the current school (showing monthly/annual income)

3. Entrance Examination Subjects

• Based on the previous class syllabus:

  • English

  • Mathematics

  • Science

4. Examination Date & Time

• The entrance examination will be conducted on Saturday, Magh 3, 2081.

• Written exam: 9:00 AM

• Interview: 11:00 AM

• Candidates must be present at the examination center on time.

6. Financial Assistance

• Students may receive financial aid based on merit and economic background:

  • 75%, 50%, 25%, or 10% fee waiver (tuition fee only).

• Students from families with monthly income below NPR 60,000 are eligible to apply.

7. Additional Information

• Students must attend the entrance exam at the nearest examination center.

• Scholarships are provided only to students meeting the criteria set by the school.

• Scholarship details will be published after evaluation.

• All decisions made by the school regarding scholarships will be final.

• Students must submit all required documents; incomplete applications will not be considered.

• Local applicants from Grades 1 and 2 must submit a recommendation letter from the local ward office confirming permanent residence.

• Admission forms for Grade 4 and above are available now.

• Admission forms for Grade 3 will be available from Magh 7, 2081.
