Key Vacancies and Details:
As per the notice published on 2082/03/06 (June 20, 2025), the Nepal Bar Council, with the consent of the Public Service Commission, is inviting applications for the following permanent posts:
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Officer, Sixth Level: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Senior Assistant, Fifth Level: Proficiency Certificate Level (10+2) or equivalent.
- Accountant, Fifth Level: Proficiency Certificate Level (10+2) or equivalent with Accountancy.
- IT Assistant, Fifth Level: Certificate Level (10+2) or equivalent in Information Technology/Computer Science.
Age Limit:
- Officer (Level 6): 21 to 35 years.
- Assistant (Level 5): 18 to 35 years.
- Note: For women and persons with disabilities, the upper age limit is 40 years.
Application Process & Deadlines:
- Download Form: Obtain the application form from the official Nepal Bar Council website: www.nepalbarcouncil.org.np.
- Fill & Attach: Complete the form and attach copies of your citizenship certificate and all relevant educational qualification documents. If your degree is from outside Nepal, an equivalency certificate is mandatory.
- Examination Fee: Deposit the application fee into Siddharth Bank Limited, Account No. 00115403919 (Nepal Bar Council), and attach the bank voucher with your application.
- Officer (Level 6): Rs. 1,000/- (additional Rs. 400/- per extra group/paper).
- Fifth Level Posts: Rs. 700/-.
- Submission Location: Submit your application to the Nepal Bar Council office in Kupandol, Lalitpur.
Important Dates:
- Application Deadline (Normal Fee): 2082/03/26 (July 11, 2025). If this date falls on a public holiday, the deadline shifts to the next working day.
- Application Deadline (Double Fee): Until 2082/04/01 (July 16, 2025). (Note: The double fee period does not extend age or qualification criteria.)
Examination Details:
The selection process will involve a written examination conducted by the Public Service Commission, followed by an interview. The detailed syllabus for the examination is available on the Nepal Bar Council website.
