Education Science and Technology Minister Shishir Khanal has said that the first priority of the government is the Education Act.
Minister Khanal said that while taking office now, he will study and review the Education Act and move it forward.
“We are determined to get the textbooks in the hands of the students by Baisakh.” Referring to the delay in the publication of the results of Tribhuvan University, he said, “We should also be responsible for the loss caused by not being able to publish the results on time, we should work to publish the results on time.”
After the appointment, while giving instructions to the staff, he said, ‘We should work together for the transformation of public education, we should discuss policy issues and work without any interference.’
