Tribhuvan University English Central Department has arranged that all students who have passed the bachelor level can study English subject in the master course.
According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the University Academic Council held on Ashoj 24th, it has been decided that those who have passed the bachelor level in any subject will be allowed to study English at the master level.
TU has implemented such a system by changing the previous recognition that only those who have studied optional English in graduation can study in master’s degree.
According to the decision of the English Subject Standing Committee, the Faculty Council Standing Committee and the Academic Council Standing Committee, a new system has been implemented regarding the admission eligibility for the English Subject Master’s level.
It has been decided that students who have passed the bachelor’s level in any subject from the University, or who have passed the bachelor’s level in any subject including English from any university recognized by the University, with a minimum of 100 marks or equivalent, and who have obtained the equivalency of the bachelor’s level from the University will be allowed to study for master studies.
Students who have passed bachelor level in any subject from any university in a country where English is their mother tongue and who have obtained the equivalence of bachelor level from tertiary institution are eligible to study.
